Brittney and I took Lars to Winnie the Pooh at Pacific Place - he loved it.  He loved it so much that he wanted Pearl to "watch a movie" with him - and we had to make popcorn to go with his "the-a-ter"

Lars tore out the primroses and all of the other plants I didn't like.  

A Nose

Lars was drawing people today and asked how to draw a nose.  I asked "What does a nose look like?" And he replied, "a circle with boogers in it."

Lars is cultured

Yesterday at preschool they were studying states and it was New York state day.  Lars saw the Statue of Liberty and said "I've seen that!"  Miss Lauren said "Have you really?" And Lars replied, "Yes, at Red Robin."

Lars is done with diapers!

He doesn't even need them to sleep anymore!  He still wears a pull up "just in case" but he doesn't need it - or really want it.

Lars' creativity

- "God made it that way" :: I use it to end conversations that I can't otherwise end.  Now he uses it for explaining the TV schedule, or almost anything else

- "Will you come sit with I?"

Lars is totally confident "swimming" across the pool in Palm Springs while holding onto the 'snakes.'  He kicks with his feet - but he totally understands that he could fall off at any minute and clings for dear life.  But he held on and kept swimming for a long time.

Of course I am close by Mom.

Lars is Potty Trained!

For the last few months Lars has gone without a diaper during the day.  He hasn't had an accident in months (except when his daddy and papa weren't paying attention, but that's another story) and has even been taking a nap without a diaper.  For the last week he's been waking up dry too!  Hooray!

...is a lot of work and extremely active.

...tried to pick a booger that Pearl had today.  "I'm just trying to get that booger" he told me.

...talks all the time.  In his sleep.  All the time.  If you tell him to stop he says "I just can't"

Mama's socks and a blue lollipop

Lars came home from preschool and wanted to wear the knee socks I had been wearing - and eat a blue lollipop while watching a show before his nap.  It was definitely a photo opportunity.

Lars loves Little Gym.  He loves his teacher, Teacher Allison too.  Pearl has the same teacher and right before class one day Lars said "Pearl is lucky, she has Teacher Allison too."

A break through!

 Last night I made pasta (multi colored bug shaped pasta) for dinner and set some aside for Lars when I doused ours in Alfredo sauce.  He ate it!  He even asked for the parmesan cheese to sprinkle on his pasta - which he did - and he ate.  I was so thrilled it was all I could do to sit calmly and continue talking about Little Gym.
